What Do I need to pack?
*ESTA'S
The uk is one of those countries where you need an ESTA as we are a visa waiver country. you will need one of there 72 hours before travelling. You can get one from the u.s custom borders and protection webpage to apply online. (See the links to useful sites at the bottom of this page)
Have your passport at the ready!

Here are just a few idea's of things to pack....

*Passport ( an electronic chipped one introduced from 2006 onwards so check the date of you're passport, as these are the ones accepted with Esta's.
if you're passport is dated within 6 months of you're travel date you're good to go.

*Earphones (One's on the plane don't always work!)

*Bording ticket (you can check in early online, but its often not worth it as you still have to check in your luggage anyway!)

*Clean Underwear ! (Goes without saying really!)

*Info of where your staying

*money $ (It's worth checking the exchange rate to as it
can change fairly frequently)

*Phone (though networks charge you various different fees for international calls while you in the usa)

*Warm clothing (if you're travelling in the winter time it gets very chilly!)

*Summer clothes and sunscreen (Summers can be very hot!) And mosquito spray with a decent deet on. They apparently like English blood!

Most airlines will allow one carry on rucksack, or handbag, one small suitcase (you could have as hand luggage, and a bigger suitcase to check in. It's best just checking the airline website if in any doubt.
