Woodchucks, also known as Groundhogs, are also rather shy creatures who often only are seen at night, or dusk. They are across between an oversized squirrel and an otter, but almost look like land otters minus the whiskers! In fact they are the burrowing family members of the flying squirrels, tree squirrels and chipmunks!

They're favourite plant to munch on, as I found to my cost, is Sunflowers! They also love mulberry leaves, hay grasses, and corn, so if you have a veg patch or a farm, you better watch out!!
